HMC Donates Medical PPE
In the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic there is a critical need for personal protective equipment (PPE) for our dedicated and indispensable medical staff and frontline responders due to the volume of cases.
HMC Polymers has a sustained record of community engagement and we are pleased to provide support through the donation and distribution of needed PPE. As a first contribution phase, HMC is providing 10,000 pieces of specially produced PPE made from our resins including isolation gowns and face masks to assist doctors, nurses and frontline workers at hospitals nationwide. So far, HMC has contributed needed PPE to over 200 hospitals in Thailand.
One of the recent hospitals to receive assistance of isolation gowns and face shields is Thammasat University Hospital which is one of a number of hospitals treating confirmed COVID-19 cases. Thammasat University Hospital opened the first Field Hospital for COVID-19 in March 2020 and has been making a major contribution for severely affected patients of the pandemic.

HMC was pleased to provide Thammasat University Hospital with a total of 4,000 sets of isolation gowns and face shields for use in their COVID-19 wards and for on-forwarding to networking hospitals.
HMC is grateful to our employees for generously contributing to the PPE initiative. Another 1,000 sets of isolation gowns are being produced and will be ready for distribution soon. We also give special thanks to our valued long-term customer, Teamplas Chemical Co., Ltd. for their invaluable assistance with the production of face shields.
Everyone at HMC offers thanks and gratitude to our heroes on the frontline, the health workforce, working day and night at significant personal cost to serve our communities.
We send our thoughts and best wishes to individuals, families and businesses who are working to manage and adapt to COVID-19 in their communities, particularly those who are being directly impacted by the virus.
