The Thai Plastic Industries Association and Plastic Industry Club of The Federation of Thai Industries organize the perennial gala Plastic Night event to celebrate innovation and excellence in plastics manufacturing.

The 2014 theme was “We Create Tomorrow” and this year's event was held on the 22nd of October at Thai Army Club Viphavadi. HMC polymers is a proud long-term sponsor of the Plastic Night awards program.

Plastic Night was created by leading individuals and companies in the Thai plastics industry to recognize excellence and encourage the improvement of operational standards and corporate responsibility, particularly in relation to environmental issues arising from the production and use of plastics.

This awareness is reflected in support of the Plastic Institute of Thailand (PITH) and Thai Institute of Plastic Management for Sustainable Environment (TIPMSE). Both institutes focus on the sustainable development of the Thai plastics industry.

HMC customers were among the award winners using a wide variety of polypropylene grades. Those companies included Srithai Superware, Poranant, Thai Nakorn Pattana, PB Pipie and Chiahong won the awards amongst other winners. HMC President, Khun Supachoke, presented flower bouquets to representatives of the winning companies.

We thank all award winners for their innovative contributions to the Thai plastics industry and national economic growth. HMC is proud to have the opportunity to contribute to the Plastic Night event and looks forward to future collaborations with manufacturers in finding new and novel applications for our broad range of PP grades.
