Candidate SVHC List Updated

To assist HMC customers understand the current list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) and the extent to which the regulation of SVHC under REACH might impact on businesses which use chemical products, we hope the information listed below is useful.
Per the current SVHC list (as of June 16, 2014), no grades in the HMC Polymers PP portfolio contain any chemical substances deemed to be Substances of Very High Concern.
The European Chemicals Agency has added four substances in the Candidate List (SVHC) by June 16, 2014 which now contains 155 substances. The new Candidate List for authorisation on June 16, 2014 and their SVHC properties is as follows:
