HMC Exhibits at Chinaplas
HMC Polymers was on display at the recent Chinaplas 2013 (May 20th to 23rd), held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Pazhou in Guangzhou, PR China. HMC Sales and Technical staff operated at the booth location of joint venture partner, PTT in Exhibition Hall 12, Booth 2121.
HMC Technology Engineer, Ms. Saliya Suriyo, and HMC PP Sales Segment Manager, Mr. Udon Praguypanya were on hand during the fair to consult with customers and prospects.
At the PTT group booth, HMC Polymers was represented alongside PTT’s affiliates to promote the benefits of our latest technology PP portfolio for the China and East Asia markets. HMC displayed content and samples describing the company's PP leadership in Southeast Asia and product examples from our key China market applications including:
Raffia and Raffia Coating – HOMO Grades: HP400H, HP400K, HP500L.
– HECO Grades: EP229S, EP300H, EP225R.
HMC's grades for Raffia provide a combination of high tenacity and excellent processability. The coating resins provide excellent manufacturing process stability and superior adhesion for high speed coating processes.
Textiles and Fibres – HOMO Grades: HP553R, HP561R, HP562T, HP6033.
State-of-the-art spunbond and textile resins suitable for the major textile conversion technologies. Providing an excellent combination of tenacity, low fume generation and superior gas-fading characteristics suitable to obtain low denier spunbond filaments. Very good spinability and high drawability for high tenacity yarn.
Water Quenched Film (IPP) – HOMO Grade: HP525N.
Offering an excellent combination of superior processability, low gel content, high clarity, excellent slip properties providing a low coefficient-of-friction (CoF) combined with a superior balance of mechanical properties (stiffness-impact balance).
Chinaplas, which rotates annually between Guangzhou and Shanghai, has more than tripled its amount of exhibition space since 2005 and has become the world’s second biggest plastics and rubber fair behind the triennial K-Fair in Düsseldorf, Germany.
This year’s Chinaplas attracted 114,103 attendees from over 140 countries. Of these, more than 30,770, or just over 26 percent, came from outside China.
