New System for Online Orders

HMC Polymers is constantly reviewing it's customer service package to improve our overall customer experience. For our current customers we are pleased to announce a forthcoming opportunity to take advantage of the new HMC SmartOrder System for ordering materials online.
SmartOrder is an easy to use online ordering system that is accessed through the HMC Polymers' website via PCs, tablets and smartphones. The system provides "Smart" features such as Create, Search, Print and Save functionalities that help to make your HMC order easy to initiate and track – it's that simple!
As an online service, the SmartOrder System is available for use 24 hours per day, and once initiated, the order progress can be followed in real time.

How does the SmartOrder process work? Once registered to participate in the program, the customer enters his or her user-name and password into the SmartOrder popup link on hmcpolymers.com. They can then select their desired product grades, quantities and packaging options.
The order is automatically sent to the customer's designated management contact who can then approve the orders with a click. Finally, HMC's sales coordinator or sales person reviews and submits the orders for sales confirmation. The order is then activated for fulfillment within the HMC system.
The system has been designed to be user-friendly and intuitive to operate. Only a few data points are required to be entered including: location, products, pack size and quantities.
The system offers purchase tracking with an historical log allowing each individual order to be tracked back to its source, reducing errors and the potential for lost documents. The log information includes:
- Sent date of customer/requester
- Declined date of customer's management/approver
- Sent or resent date of customer/requester after a correction
- Approved date of customer's management/approver
- Saved or submitted date from HMC's sales coordinator/sales person
HMC sales will be actively promoting the SmartOrder program in August and September through visits with existing customers. The SmartOrder capability is a complimentary service and customers will be able to utilise the system once an application form is completed and approved.
