HMC Polymers partners with Greenwave 106.5 and Srinakharinwirot University in the "Share for Life" Project Connecting Circularity, Carbon Reduction, and Connectivity as one

Recently, HMC Polymers Company Limited (HMC Polymers), the pioneer in launching the PP Reborn, PP plastic waste management platform in Thailand, has collaborated with Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) to donate PP plastic waste collected through the PP Reborn platform to the Share for Life project by Greenwave 106.5 FM. The plastics will be sold, and the proceeds will fund the installation of solar panels at Bo Kluea Hospital, a small healthcare facility serving the public in Nan Province. This initiative aims to reduce electricity costs and use the savings to improve the provision of medicine and healthcare for patients.

This collaboration between PP Reborn, SWU, and Greenwave 106.5 FM aligns with HMC Polymers' corporate sustainability strategy, which focuses on three key pillars:

  • Circularity: Recycling resources, meaning PP plastic waste is reintroduced into the production system, reducing the need for new resources and minimizing environmental waste.
  • Carbon Reduction: Lowering carbon emissions by diverting waste from landfills and decreasing the extraction of new resources.
  • Connectivity: Using knowledge and business networks to enhance the quality of life for people in society.
