Together with its joint venture associate company LyondellBasell, HMC Polymers showed at ArabPlast 2017 between January 8th and 10th, 2017. Located at the LyondellBasell booth at the Dubai World Trade Centre, HMC met with AFME customers and prospects at this important regional event.

In addition to its exhibit presence, HMC also conducted a seminar, The Full Potential of PP, presented by Dr. Andreas Neumann, HMC’s Senior Department Manager, Business Innovation & Technology. The seminar was attended by over 60 people and was followed by an invitational dinner for HMC customers.

Polypropylene technology is constantly advancing, presenting HMC customers with expanded capabilities to make their products stronger, clearer, thinner and faster in production than ever before. As one of the leading producers of PP in Asia, HMC is in the forefront of these exciting developments.

The seminar was an ideal opportunity for Dr. Neumann to explain the current state-of-the-art for PP technology, the direction of research and development, and product advancements in the pipeline. The topics discussed were:
