Conference Explains New Grades

HMC Polymers recently joined with joint venture associate, PTT Group for the 10th annual Technology Week. The series of seminars highlighting new commercialised product developments was held between September 9th to 13th, 2013 at the Energy Complex in Bangkok and the theme was: "We believe in Science & Technology".
The five day conference included seminars and displays to provide in-depth new product information for a large audience of customers, stakeholders and the industry press. In addition to information regarding new product releases, Technology Week also presented recent group R&D activities and future strategies in response to directions across a broad array of market categories.

Along with product samples and customer consultations to show new product benefits, HMC's Khun Oraphin Teeranaamornwong, Product Innovation & Technology Manager, ran a parallel session on 9th September entitled: "Purell RP271M: Medium melt flow PP random copolymer resin with good clarity dedicated for medical applications".
Also, on 10th September, Khun Preecha Pocatanawat, HMC Vice President - Finance & Accounting and Corporate Support, was on stage to give the popular Technology Week Award to the research project receiving the highest number of votes from participants. This annual award is sponsored by HMC Polymers.

The new HMC grades presented to the conference were:
