HMC Polymers exhibited at the annual A-PLAS trade fair (September 14-17, 2016) held at BITEC - Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre. HMC co-sponsored an A-PLAS booth with PTT Global Chemical, a subsidiary of joint venture associate company PTT.

Staging under the theme “Connecting Plastic Industries, Accelerating Business Growth” A-PLAS 2016 is a rebranded Plastic Industry Trade Fair for the SE Asian region which has extended from TIPF (1997 2000, 2002, 2004) and TIPREX (2006, 2009, 2011, 2013) and is now an internationally recognized event for the plastic industry. Over 200 exhibitors from the ASEAN region including China, India, Japan and Taiwan exhibited at the fair and more than 10,000 trade visitors from around the world attended.

HMC displayed PP applications using a variety of grades demonstrating the broad-based material capabilities of the HMC portfolio:

  Application: Retort packaging
  Grade: PP Impact COPO, EP310D
  Benefits: Very high impact strength and good stiffness
   
• HOUSEWARE PRODUCTS
  Application: Lock & Lock container
  Grade: PP Random COPO, RP348N
  Benefits: High Clarity
