Thailand Post joins forces with HMC Polymers and 5 other partners to showcase 7 years of Green Hub success, transforming over 750 tons of used materials into social value

On June 15, 2026, Dr. Dhanant Subhadrabandhu, Chief Executive Officer of Thailand Post Company Limited, announced the achievements of the Green Hub project. Over the seven-year period from 2020 to 2026, Thailand Post, together with six environmental partners: HMC Polymers, GC, SCG Packaging, AIS, TPBI, and the Pollution Control Department, has operated collection points for used materials at 121 post offices nationwide.

Through this initiative, more than 750 tons of plastic, cardboard boxes, electronic waste, and various recyclable materials have been collected and processed through proper waste management systems. These materials have subsequently been transformed into products and equipment that benefit society, reinforcing Thailand Post’s role in leveraging its nationwide logistics network to connect stakeholders across sectors, promote the circular economy, and drive tangible environmental sustainability.

As a strong sustainability partner, HMC Polymers would like to express its appreciation to Thailand Post for recognizing the potential of PP Reborn, HMC Polymers’ platform for managing polypropylene (PP) plastic waste. Through this collaboration, drop points for PP plastic waste have been established at 121 post offices nationwide. Combined with other drop points located at key sites throughout Bangkok and its surrounding areas, the initiative has enabled more than 15,000 kilograms of PP plastic waste to be recovered and returned to the production cycle.
