HMC Polymers Participates in “Sustainability Sparks by PTT,” Reinforcing Leadership in Sustainable PP Product Manufacturer
16 January 2026 – Mr. Corso Uzielli, President of HMC Polymers Company Limited, was invited as a special guest speaker alongside Mr. Pakkapong Wangrattanasopon, Chief Operating Officer of the Refinery and Petrochemical Business Unit (RO&PO) at PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), at the Sustainability Sparks by PTT event organized by PTT Public Company Limited. The event was held at Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon.
The special talk, titled “From Kitchen to Creation: The Biorefinery Journey of Tomorrow,” highlighted GC’s Biorefinery development pathway, which focuses on creating added value from used cooking oil. Through collection and quality enhancement processes, the refined material is supplied to HMC Polymers as a feedstock for producing sustainable polypropylene (Sustainable PP Product) within Bio–Circular PP product portfolio, which utilizes renewable bio-based raw materials.
Mr. Corso Uzielli emphasized that sustainability cannot be achieved by any single company or product alone; it requires collaboration across all sectors. He also extended his appreciation to GC, one of HMC Polymers’ major shareholders and a key sustainability partner, for its vital role in turning shared visions into tangible achievements and reinforces HMC Polymers’ vision of becoming the Preferred Partner for Sustainable PP Solutions.
