HMC Polymers Receives the 2024 Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) Certification
On July 16, 2025, HMC Polymers Company Limited (HMC Polymers) was awarded the Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) certificate for the year 2024 for both its PP Plant and PDH Plant. The certificate was presented by Dr. Wijarn Simachaya, Chairman of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), or TGO, representing the company at the award ceremony was Mr. Teerapong Raksasang, Department Manager of Health, Safety, and Environment. The event was held at the Conference Hall of the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ), Bangkok.
The Carbon Footprint for Organization certificate is a recognition granted by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) to organizations that are able to accurately and transparently access and report their greenhouse gas emissions from operations. This achievement reflects HMC Polymers' strong commitment to managing its production processes in a way that minimizes environmental impact, aligning with the "Carbon Reduction" pillar—one of the key elements in the company's sustainability framework.
