HMC Polymers Company Limited has been Awarded the Green Industry Level 4 (GI4) for 2024
On September 23, 2024, Mr. Akanat Promphan, Minister of Industry, presided over the Green Industry Award for the 2024 ceremony, held under the theme "Achieving Sustainable Success Alongside Community and Environmental Care with Green Industry." HMC Polymers Company Limited was honored with the prestigious Green Industry Award Level 4 (GI4) for both its facilities – the PP and PDH production plants. Mr. Athit Chuenbunchoo, Department Manager of Health, Safety, and Environment, accepted the award on behalf of HMC Polymers Company Limited at the Makkawan Rangsan Hall, Thai Army Club, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Bangkok.
The Ministry of Industry based the award criteria on the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green) economy model. HMC Polymers’ achievement demonstrates continuous improvements in production processes and environmental management, as well as its commitment to social responsibility within and beyond the organization throughout the supply chain. This accomplishment reflects HMC Polymers' strong adherence to management and sustainability policies.
