HMC Polymers Unites for the 22nd International Coastal Conservation Day

On September 21, 2024, HMC Polymers, in collaboration with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate Office, private sector operators, and various organizations in the Map Ta Phut and Ban Chang industrial areas, organized the 22nd International Coastal Conservation Day at Laem Charoen Beach - Suchada Beach in Rayong Province. The event was presided over by Mr. Traipop Wongtrairat, the Governor of Rayong, with Mr. Corso Uzielli, President of HMC Polymers, leading a team of executives, volunteer employees, and their families in the activities.

The International Coastal Conservation Day aimed to educate and raise awareness about effective waste management practices, including recycling, general waste, and hazardous waste, to reduce environmental contamination, particularly in marine and coastal areas. HMC Polymers emphasized the importance of active participation from executives and employees, who joined volunteers to clean up the beach alongside participants from other organizations, successfully collecting up to 3,800 kilograms of waste before it was properly disposed of by the relevant authorities.
