HMC Polymers Joins A-PLAS Roadshow with Entrepreneurs Creating new business opportunities with innovative strategies for sustainability
On July 11, 2024, HMC Polymers Limited, in collaboration with partners such as PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), attended a roadshow meeting with over 70 entrepreneurs at Sinsakon Industrial Estate of Samut Sakhon Province. The objective was to explore new business opportunities within the country by utilizing Premium Grade PP plastics from cutting-edge innovations and production technology. HMC Polymers also introduced new options to customers, including Sustainable PP Products. These products include bio-based PP from used cooking oil, which helps reduce waste and carbon emissions during production; chemically recycled PP made through a chemical process certified ISCC PLUS by the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification; and mechanically recycled PP from post-consumer recycled plastics (PCR) and post-industrial recycled plastics (PIR). This mechanical recycling process is certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
This customer engagement is part of A-PLAS 2024, a comprehensive plastics industry exhibition titled "Integrating Plastic Value Chain for ECO-FUTURE." The event will take place from September 19-21, 2024, at Hall 103, BITEC Bangna, Bangkok, from 10:00 to 18:00.
