HMC Polymers has engaged in brainstorming sessions with 10 founders of waste management platforms and projects in Thailand, advancing efforts in circularity through the strategy of synergy and collaboration.

On the evening of November 30, 2023, Less Plastic Thailand group held a meeting to connect founders of the plastic and other waste management platforms and projects in Thailand. The purpose was to discuss and unite efforts in driving the mentioned initiatives towards greater sustainability.

The meeting included representatives from various sectors:

  • Trash Lucky : Modern Saleng (ซาเล้ง)
  • CIRPLAS : Circular Plastic
  • HMC Polymers : PP Reborn, The first PP waste management platform
  • Moreloop : Surplus fabric
  • Greenery : Online green community
  • Earthology Studio : Sustainable fashion business
  • Terracycle : River and canal clean up technology
  • Energy Capital Asia : Solar energy
  • Less Plastic Thailand : Informal waste collector and NGO

During this event, HMC Polymers collaborated with Srinakharinwirot University to manage the used of PP plastic in the collaborative academic area on Asoke-Montri Road, considered a strategic area in Bangkok. This collaboration is expected to commence in 2024. The partnership also involves discussions with members to elevate the importance of the circular economy in economic development.
