Improved Sourcing For RAPIDS
RAPIDS is an acronym which stands for: Regulatory Affairs Product Stewardship Information/Certification Data Sheet. This important product stewardship information is supplied for all commercialized products sold by HMC Polymers and available for download in PDF format from this website.
Previously, visitors to the HMC Polymers website navigated to the Product Table, clicked on the R link for RAPIDS and were in turn linked to our associate company LyondellBasell which managed all details and distribution of the HMC RAPIDS product stewardship data.
HMC Polymers now manages all aspects of the RAPIDS information and distribution internally from hmcpolymers.com. Visitors will find a more streamlined approach to the distribution of this important product information.
Simply navigate to Products & Applications in the primary menu and select Product Table from the pulldown menu. All products are listed in Homopolymers, Heterophasic Copolymers and Random Copolymers groups and ranked by the Melt Flow Rate.
To the right of every product listed on the Product Table, there are three coloured resource link options:
- P (Blue) – Product Data Sheet
- M (Green) – MSDS – Material Safety Data Sheet
- R (Red) – RAPIDS – Regulatory Affairs Product Stewardship Information/Certification Data Sheet
By clicking on Red for RAPIDS, the visitor will receive a pop-up information box. Once that information is completed, the requested RAPIDS will download automatically. By providing contact details, the requestor will be updated on any changes that may occur to the RAPIDS information of the originally selected product. Nevertheless, for product information that is particularly sensitive we recommend that customers periodically download RAPIDS for their HMC products to ensure all details are as expected.
If a product listed on the Product Table has no red RAPIDS link button, then it is sold by HMC as a Development Product.
