HMC Assists COVID Support Program

HMC Polymers provides PP resin to be converted as food boxes to assist essential front line responders and communities in need during the COVID-19 spread.

HMC was pleased to receive a request for COVID-19 support program assistance from its long-standing and valued customer, Ruangwa Standard Industry Co., Ltd., a world-class plastic products manufacturer.

As part of that initiative, HMC Polymers donated 500 kg of Moplen HP640U high flow, thin wall injection molding grade polypropylene for Ruangwa Standard Industry to convert into 10,000 pieces of light weight food packaging ensuring the safety of provided meals to front line workers and those in hard hit areas.

The loaded food boxes were delivered to essential medical personnel in the Bangkok and Nonthaburi areas and communities experiencing severe COVID-19 outbreaks. Those communities included the Samphanthawong and Bang Kho Laem Districts, where food boxes were provided to Samutprakarn Field Hospital, Chulabhorn Research Institute, Charoenkrung Pracharak Hospital and Rajavithi Hospital.

HMC would like to sincerely thank Ruangwa Standard Industry Co for the opportunity to be a partner with them in this worthwhile project to support our communities.
