HMC & Yuen Yong Enterprise Assist FFF
A pioneering project named Food for Fighters (FFF) has been established by Thai restaurateur Panchana Vatanasathien to provide food to frontline workers fighting COVID-19 and also deliver necessary medicines and equipment to patients. The program has been very effective and delivered much needed relief to a critical segment of the community.
Khun Chu-Wei Kuo, Factory Manager of Yuen Yong Enterprise together with his wife Khun Rattanavalai Thongsri, with Nusra Tangchittsukthavorn, HMC Corporate Communications Mgr. and Khun Nimol Wongteerasupaya, HMC PP Solutions Segment Mgr. in support of PP food containers to Food for Fighters, received by Khun Panchana Vatanasathien, the originator of the FFF volunteer project.
HMC Polymers is always keen to collaborate with our customers to offer socially responsible initiatives in the communities in which we jointly serve. This quarter, HMC Polymers is partnering with our valued manufacturing customer, Yuen Yong Enterprise to produce the delivery food containers for this worthy FFF program in support of those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
HMC is contributing PP resin to be converted into over 15,000 food containers thermoformed by Yuen Yong Enterprise in support of the Food for Fighters volunteer food deliveries for vulnerable citizens.
The food contact PP resin Moplen HP748H is a superior clarity, high stiffness homopolymer. The food box, manufactured by Yuen Yong Enterprise is microwavable and ensures hygiene and safety throughout the supply chain.
