HMC Polymers Holds the 2026 Kathin Samakkhi Ceremony at Wat Soikeeree, Rayong
On Friday, 30 October 2026, Mr. Corso Uzielli, President of HMC Polymers Co., Ltd., assigned Mr. Vasun Subanake, SVP – Manufacturing and Operational Excellence, to preside over the 2026 Kathin Samakkhi ceremony at Wat Soikeeree in Huai Pong, Rayong. Mr. Pornchai Pichitwutikorn, SVP – Business Strategy, Innovation and Commercial, joined him along with HMC Polymers executives and employees. Kathin is a Buddhist merit-making tradition of offering robes to monks at the end of Buddhist Lent. HMC Polymers co-hosted the ceremony with Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd. (BST), BST ENEOS Elastomer Co., Ltd. (BEE) and local communities.
The ceremony raised a total of THB 1,960,988.17 in merit donations from the three host companies, employees, local communities and other companies. The funds will go toward building a crematorium at Wat Soikeeree. It will be a public facility that the temple and local communities share for funeral rites for years to come.
The ceremony reflects the company's Corporate CSR Strategy 3E, Extra Care for communities, and the Connectivity pillar: working with neighboring companies and communities to preserve local traditions as a good neighbor.
Thank you to all executives and employees who helped prepare, joined the ceremony and made merit donations.
