HMC Polymers receives pin and certificate of recognition from the Thai Coral Reef and Marine Life Conservation Foundation under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya
On the morning of September 11, 2026, Admiral Suvin Jangyodsuk, Vice Chairman of the Thai Coral Reef and Marine Life Conservation Foundation under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, presided over the third contribution ceremony held by the foundation. The ceremony took place at the main conference room, 2nd floor, PTT Public Company Limited Headquarters. The event was attended by representatives from the government, private sector, and civil society, including the Royal Thai Navy, Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, CP Group, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, PTT Public Company Limited, PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited, PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited, Thai Oil Public Company Limited, and other organizations, including HMC Polymers.
On this occasion, HMC Polymers received a commemorative pin and certificate of recognition in appreciation of its support of sustainable PP products made from PP plastic waste through advanced processes that comply with international standards. The sustainable PP products were provided to the foundation and its partners to produce 3,000 sets of bedpans for patients, which were distributed to hospitals in need across Thailand. Production was completed and the bedpans have been progressively delivered since 2024. Planning is currently underway for the second round of production.
HMC Polymers believe that supporting sustainable PP products made from PP plastic waste not only reinforces the importance of resource circulation based on the principles of Circularity, but also contributes to Carbon Reduction by reducing plastic waste sent to landfills and minimizing the need to extract new resources. This initiative also reflects HMC Polymers’ commitment to applying our knowledge and expertise to improve people’s quality of life through Connectivity. As a result, this single project addresses all three pillars of our sustainability framework.
