HMC Polymers receives Green Industry Level 4 awards for both manufacturing plants. Reflecting the company’s commitment to fostering a green culture through its three-pillar sustainability strategy
On 9 September 2026, Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry, presided over the 2026 Green Industry Award Ceremony, held under the project “Enhancing Industries toward Green Industry for Sustainable Coexistence with Society.” The event took place at the the Makkawan Rangsan Hall, The Royal Thai Army Club, Bangkok.
On this occasion, HMC Polymers Co., Ltd. received two Green Industry Level 4 (GI4) Awards, one for its Polypropylene (PP) Plant and another for its Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) Plant. A representative of Mr. Corso Uzielli, President of HMC Polymers, accepted the awards on behalf of the company.
The Green Industry Award, initiated by the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry, is granted across several levels. Level 4 (GI4) emphasizes developing a Green Culture, reflecting a deeply rooted environmental consciousness among employees that has become an integral part of the organization’s culture. It also recognizes the commitment of personnel to continuously improve and develop operations, enabling the company to grow sustainably alongside society and local communities in a balanced manner.
