HMC Polymers partnered with Channel 3 and Thailand Post to deliver a recycled PP plastic playground to a Border Patrol Police School, reinforcing the success of the “PP Reborn: Turn PP Wastes to Children's Playgrounds” initiative.

On 16 October 2025, HMC Polymers Company Limited, together with BEC Group, Channel 3, and Thailand Post, officially handed over a recycled polypropylene (PP) playground to Ban Nam Om Border Patrol Police School in Khao Chakan District, Sa Kaeo Province. The playground was constructed using post-consumer PP plastic collected nationwide through the “PP Reborn: Turn PP Wastes to Children's Playgrounds” campaign.

Representatives of Mr. Corso Uzielli, President of HMC Polymers, joined executives from BEC Group, Channel 3, Thailand Post, and the Border Patrol Police Headquarters to celebrate the handover.

Since the campaign launch on 19 June 2025 through 30 August 2025, the public was invited to donate used PP plastic packaging (marked with recycling symbol No. 5), such as ready-meal containers, yogurt cups, ice-cream containers, noodle baskets, and beverage cups. Collection points included post offices nationwide and designated “PP Reborn” drop points. The campaign successfully gathered:

102 kg of used PP from post offices nationwide,1,995 kg from PP Reborn drop points and HMC Polymers’ sustainability network, Total: 2,097 kg, equivalent to a reduction of 2,162 kg of CO₂ emissions

A portion of the collected PP was recycled into PP resin and used to produce a 400-square-meter recycled plastic playground surface, now installed at Ban Nam Om Border Patrol Police School. The new playground provides a safer space for students, reducing injury risks and promoting physical development, empowering them to grow into strong, capable youth.

As a leading producer of premium-grade PP resin in ASEAN, HMC Polymers extends heartfelt thanks to all partners:

  • BEC Group and Channel 3 – Thailand’s top media network, amplifying campaign awareness
  • Thailand Post – enabling nationwide collection and delivery of used PP packaging
  • Border Patrol Police Headquarters and other sustainability partners – for their support and collaboration

Most importantly, thank you to the people of Thailand for your generous contributions. This united effort not only reduces landfill waste, conserves resources, and cuts carbon emissions—it also creates a meaningful impact for Thai education, inspiring and empowering students in remote areas.
