HMC Polymers joins with Thailand Post to expand nationwide drop points for PP plastic waste, focusing on sustainable synergy

On June 5, 2025, at Thailand Post Headquarters, Chaeng Watthana Road, Bangkok, Mr. Corso Uzielli, President of HMC Polymers company limited, participated in a significant declaration of intent ceremony titled “Connecting Happiness, Connecting Love with Thailand Post Connecting Happiness.” He was joined by Miss Waraporn Kongkiewphan, Chief Corporate Strategy Officer of Thailand Post company limited (Thailand Post), and several national partners, including GC Group, AIS, TPBI, the Pollution Control Department, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. Together, they aim to reintegrate recyclable waste into the production system through Thailand Post’s Green Hub project. HMC Polymers introduced the PP Reborn platform, Thailand’s first PP plastic management system, into the project, making Thailand Post’s Green Hub a nationwide drop point for nearly all types of recyclable waste.

After the ceremony, Mr. Corso stated, “HMC Polymers is not only committed to producing premium polypropylene (PP) resin using world-class technology but also integrates sustainability into every aspect of our business operations. This includes minimizing environmental impact during production, offering sustainable PP products as new choices for customers, and encouraging society to return PP plastic waste through the PP Reborn platform for reuse based on circularity principles. We are fortunate to receive support from Thailand Post in providing drop point locations and utilizing their existing logistics network, which already handles mail and parcels, to reduce carbon emissions and enable the recycling of PP plastic waste into new products, enhancing connectivity and improving the quality of life in society.”

He concluded, “I would like to thank Thailand Post for recognizing the importance of the circular economy and for making HMC Polymers a long-term sustainability partner. I also invite all Thai people nationwide to think before using, choose reusable plastics, separate waste as a routine, and send PP plastic waste to HMC Polymers fornew beneficial purposes.”
