Plastic Industry Club, The Federation of Thai Industries (F.T.I) in cooperation with HMC Polymers other members held 19th Term ASEAN Federation of Plastic Industries Conference, 32nd Asia Plastics Forum & Global Plastics Alliance Joint Conference on December 13-14, 2022 at Carlton Bangkok Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand to foster interest in both business and sustainability issues, under the theme “Towards Circularity ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) & BCG (Bio-Circular-Green)”

The conference included a mix of technical sessions and case studies through interaction with the participants which also focused on the changing role of global plastic industries in initiating and planning new sustainable ways of work. In addition, the event was an opportunity for HMC Polymers to discuss suggestions of “Plastic Solutions for Tomorrow” by Khun Deepali Kelekar, department manager, innovation and technical support. “Nowadays HMC Polymers has raised sustainability as a key driver for product development especially new packaging design, we aim to reduce the plastic material by developing the higher performance PP resin together with PP resin for mono material packaging structure to ease of recyclability. Even it seems to be one of our biggest challenge but with the technology evolution and great collaborations from stakeholders will lead us to the sustainable success.
