HMC Polymers & EPG Donate Field Beds

HMC Polymers joined together with our valued manufacturing customer Aeroklas Company Limited, a subsidiary of Eastern Polymer Group (EPG), to assist the community during the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent surge of the Omicron variant.

HMC Polymers and Aeroklas donated 600 beds made from PP to field hospitals and community isolation centres in Bangkok and Rayong Province to boost their ability to treat more patients in community isolation.

HMC Polymers provided the Polypropylene (PP) raw materials for the field beds and the production was undertaken by Aeroklas. The field beds, moulded from PP, can support weight up to 200 kilograms. The beds are lightweight, strong and easy to ship, install and clean for the required sterile environment.

The HMC Polymers field bed initiative is part of the company's response to the "We Will Get Through This Together" (เราต้องรอด) program, with the objective of distributing field beds to community isolation centres in Bangkok, Rayong provincial public health office, including the field hospital at Chum Saeng, Wang Chan district and Map Ta Phut Municipal School Field Hospital. One hundred beds will be allocated to each centre with a total donation of 600 beds valued at 1,000,000 baht.

Since the first wave of outbreaks in 2020, HMC Polymers, with generous contributions from employees and customers, has established a COVID-19 Taskforce Team to contribute to the community effort of prevention, treatment, and recovery.
