HMC Polymers received the "Best Practice Sharing Award" at the recent PTT Group Operational Excellence Awards 2022, focused on thinking, doing, new methods and leading the PTT Group well for the future.
On April 28, 2022, Mr. Siridech Khumvongdee, President of HMC Polymers Company Ltd. received the Best Practice Sharing Award from Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, President and Chief Executive Officer and President of PTT Public Company Limited at the PTT Group Operational Excellence Award 2022 event. This year the online event was hosted by the Thai Oil Public Company Limited and a total of 97 awards were presented.
HMC Polymers received 2 Best Practice Sharing Awards for “PDH Plant Asset Utilization by Data Analytics and Digital Transformation” and “ONE Integrated Platform of Process Safety Excellence”.
After receiving the award Mr. Khumvongdee said: “Thank you to the executives and employees who have contributed this year to the company's award-winning operational excellence. We recognize that OpEx is a thought process and a way of working that awakens everyone to the new ideas. This process has assisted us to increase the competitiveness of both HMC Polymers and PTT Group to position our organizations for a rapidly changing world.”
PTT Group Operational Excellence (OpEx) was established with the objective of driving the operations of companies in the PTT Group to achieving performance excellence at the Top Quartile level.
OpEx has enhanced our corporate operations each year through initiatives, plans and targeted projects such as Zero Unplanned Shutdown, preparation of the OpEx Portal database for gathering knowledge of best practices, OEMS system development, maturity assessment, as well as the platform preparation for digitalization of operations projects reflecting PTT Group's high performance standards as an energy leader in Thailand.
