Event Celebrates Relationships
HMC recently invited key customers to participate in a themed event entitled HMC Happy Trip. A happy time was indeed had by all at the event held in the Thai resort town of Phuket in early May.
Fifty key HMC customers joined our Management and Sales teams for three days at a series of events which included sight seeing and some well-known tourist attractions.
The HMC Happy Trip was designed as a warm "thank you" to our customers and also an opportunity to spend some time together in a relaxed atmosphere away from daily business. For our customers, the event offered the chance to meet with HMC management and also network with fellow customer companies.
Our guests departed Bangkok early on Friday by plane to Phuket and returned on Sunday afternoon. Over the three day weekend, participants enjoyed events such as the Aloha Party where HMC management were bartenders for the evening, serving customers and enjoying the social interaction.
Guests and staff spent much of Saturday at the famous Phuket FantaSea venue which displays the charm and beauty of Thailand, and also showcases ancient Thai traditions using cutting edge technology and special effects. Its theme: Myth, Mystery and Magic!
Phuket FantaSea was designed to share the extraordinary wealth of the Thai heritage. This was a highlight of the weekend and the themes on display underlined some of the many reasons HMC Polymers is proud to be located in Thailand and a contributor to the economy and our local communities.
The HMC Polymers' President, Niels Nielsen commented: "The event was a wonderful opportunity to meet with and give a sincere "thank you" to our key customers in a social setting. While we are the largest PP producer in South East Asia, the strength of HMC is largely due to our loyal Thai customer base. Many of our product grades are generated through close collaboration with valued customers and directly respond to their needs in rapidly changing markets. It was a pleasure for HMC Polymers to join with them for several enjoyable days of conversation and fun".
