Letter to Bondholders | December 1, 2020
To: HMC Bondholder,
From: Mr. Siridech Kumvongdee | President, HMC Polymers

On 30th November, 2020 at around 16:00 hrs., there was a fire at one of HMC Polymers' blending silos (300 tons) which is located at the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Rayong Province. At around 17:00 hrs., HMC managed to control the situation and extinguish the fire successfully.  Nobody was injured during this accident in which the appropriate emergency action plan was taken accordingly.

The initial assessment shows that the damage is limited with no significant impact to HMC operations. For further assessment, PP Production Line 3 has been temporarily paused.

Nevertheless, HMC has a comprehensive insurance policy covering fire loss which is in line with the industry standards. Our coverage includes property damage and business interruption.

We will keep you informed of any further updates.

Yours Sincerely,

Siridech Kumvongdee
