New Terpolymers from Spherizone

HMC Polymers is pleased to introduce an exciting new addition to our polypropylene product portfolio that is sure to make an impact with our customers in the flexible packaging industry. Announcing HMC Terpolymer grades, the first Terpolymers produced using Spherizone, the latest generation PP process technology.

Terpolymers are polypropylene copolymers designed for use as skin layers in flexible packaging (e.g. CPP, BOPP, and shrink film). HMC Terpolymer grades offer innovative product solutions with barefoot formulations or with antiblocking agent.

Manufacturing customers who produce CPP film, BOPP film and shrink film should be especially interested in the processing and in-use advantages HMC's Terpolymer grades from Spherizone technology can deliver.








HMC Terpolymer grades provide:

  • Low sealing initiation temperatures
  • Good optical properties - high transparency and high gloss
  • Choice of barefoot formulation for sealing layer or with antiblocking agent
  • Excellent processing on high speed equipment

Clyrell RC221M
PP Terpolymer skin layer resin for film
  • Sealing temperature: 115°C
  • Barefoot version (No antiblocking and slip agent)

Clyrell RC6049
PP Terpolymer skin layer resin for film
  • Sealing temperature: 115°C
  • With antiblocking agent

Adsyl 6064
PP Terpolymer skin layer resin for film - with low SIT
  • Sealing temperature: 105°C
  • Barefoot version (No antiblocking and slip agent)
