LyondellBasell's Spherizone process is a new manufacturing platform with a multi-zone circulating reactor system that creates polypropylene and novel, propylene-based polyolefinic materials with outstanding quality. Key of the versatility of the product range obtained via Spherizone processing is its unique reactor design and operation which enable many kinds of intimately-mixed polymer compositions to be produced.
Start-up of the new Spherizone plant will be Q3 2009.
