On 9 April 2009, The Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP) organized a prize ceremony to the awarded companies who had won the EIA Monitoring Awards 2008, at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Laksi.
Among 79 participating companies in different categories, HMC Polymers Plant 1 and 2 were awarded under the Petrochemical category. The company has continuously maintained and improved its environmental policy to ensure compliances and commitment to the community and society.
