A Stone laying Ceremony was held at the construction site of HMC Polymers' Propane Dehydrogenation Plant on April 30th. The Plant will produce Propylene for the new Spherizone plant also currently under construction, both plants will start up in 2009.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the local community, the project team, management of the construction companies involved in the project and the HMC Polymers Board, management and staff. The Governor of PTT (HMC Polymers' largest shareholder) made the opening speech for the ceremony which was blessed by nine monks in a traditional Buddhist Ceremony.
