HMC Polymers production facilities are located on the Eastern Seaboard (Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate) of Rayong in Thailand, 200 km southeast of Bangkok. HMC Polymers constructed its first Homopolymer plant in 1987 - the first polypropylene production facility in Thailand - with an original capacity of 100,000 metric tons per annum. Since then HMC Polymers has continuously expanded its capabilities and production capacity. HMC Polymers commissioned its second copolymer plant in 1998. Both plants use Spheripol technology with a combined current capacity of 450,000 metric tons per annum. The plants produce a wide combination of homopolymer, heterophasic and random copolymer resins as well as specialty resins such as Adstif or Clyrell.

HMC Polymers also plans to build a third polypropylene plant on the same location using Spherizone, the latest development in polypropylene technology with an additional capacity of 300,000 metric tons per annum. Feedstock for the third unit will come from the propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant in Eastern Industrial Estate using Oleflex technology. The PDH plant will also belong to HMC Polymers.
