Safety Excellence at HMC

HMC Polymers has a strong commitment to the highest levels of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) performance. This includes managing resources and impacts to create products that contribute to sustainable development.

For us, the health and safety of employees, contractors, customers, and the public is of highest importance with everything we do.

In the period January to Mid December 2011, the TRI (Total Recordable Injuries) for the two HMC Polymers plants at Rayong and our headquarters in Bangkok was zero. There were no hours lost due to work related injury from over 350 HMC employees and our contractors operating onsite.

We believe workplace injuries are preventable and congratulate our management and staff for their attention to detail that has delivered such an excellent result. We strive for full compliance and continuous improvement in our HSE Management programs to deliver a safe working environment for our employees, contractors, stakeholders and communities.

Everyone at HMC remains focused on keeping that critical TRI number at zero. This takes considerable effort and attention. Thanks again to everyone at HMC for taking care to work safely.
